Merideth Strawhorn serves as a Government Relations Specialist for Hodges Consulting Group. At HCG Merideth:
- Represents clients as a lobbyist in the S.C. General Assembly
- Monitors legislation and provides weekly legislative updates
- Provides public relations and project development support
- Organizes conferences and other large events
Prior to joining HCG, Merideth served in Governor Hodges' administration as director of public relations for the Governor's Focus on Reading. In this role, she worked with five statewide reading initiatives including First Lady Rachel Hodges' program, Reading with Rachel.
Merideth also served as a page for Senator John W. Drummond, President Pro Tempore Emeritus, and as a public relations intern at one of South Carolina's top advertising and public relations agencies, Chernoff/Silver & Associates (now CNSG).
A Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina, Merideth earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. |
